More About Aliko

Kedros Beach lies near Hawaii at the northern tip of the Aliko peninsula. Its name comes from the cedar forest (kedros in Greek) behind the shoreline. While it is the largest beach in the Aliko area, it remains relatively quiet due to its secluded location and the sandy walk required to reach it, making it especially appealing to naturists.

The seabed is sandy, and the water displays a clear aquamarine hue. Kedros has no formal facilities, so visitors should bring their own beach gear. A nearby food truck provides drinks, snacks, and water. Since Kedros is remote, it is a favorite spot for naturist swimming. It can be accessed on foot from Hawaii, as the beaches are connected.

Above Aliko’s beaches lies a remarkable cedar forest interspersed with sand dunes, creating an exotic landscape. This forest is a protected natural area and adds to the region’s unique beauty.

Aliko can be reached by car or bus, with six daily bus departures from the port of Naxos.
