General Information
Maragas Beach is one of Naxos’ most stunning coastal spots and a highlight among Greece’s top beaches. It follows Agia Anna and Agios Prokopios beaches, while Plaka Beach begins at its western end. The shoreline stretches for approximately 4 km.
The beach features soft sand and scattered trees that offer natural shade. Its shallow waters gradually deepen, making it an ideal swimming destination for families. Snorkelers will enjoy the underwater scenery created by nearby rock formations, and Maragas is also famous for the unique eye-shells that can be spotted both in the water and along the shore.
