Routsouna Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction that remains completely unspoiled. It lies close to Keramoti, a charming mountain village in the heart of Naxos.

The waterfall stands at roughly 20 meters high. It is formed by two streams that join together on the western side of the village, with their sources located in the mountains of Koronos and Fanari. The landscape around the waterfall captivates visitors with its peaceful ambiance and lush greenery, nourished by the continuously flowing waters.

Routsouna offers a distinctive natural setting, unlike the typical Cycladic scenery. Keep in mind that the only way to reach it is on foot, and the walk takes about 40 minutes.

Bring your swimsuit—you can cool off in the refreshing pool at the base of the falls.

Routsouna Waterfall can be reached through Keramoti village.

Private transfers:

Car rental:
Renting a car from the airport, port, or your hotel gives you the freedom to visit Agios Georgios Diasoritis and explore many other landmarks at your own pace.

Public transport:
Naxos’ central bus station is located at the port. Buses from Chora to Keramoti run once a week on line 6. Schedules vary depending on the season—check the official timetables in advance.
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop at every listed stop, it’s best to notify the driver beforehand about your final destination.
