Stretching for about 4 km, Plaka Beach is a natural extension of Agia Anna Beach, located on the western side of Naxos, roughly 8 km from Naxos Town.

The beach features soft golden sand and crystal-clear waters, earning its reputation as one of Greece’s most beautiful beaches. Its vast, seemingly endless shoreline offers a wild and scenic landscape, complete with sand dunes, large flat stones, and patches of natural vegetation.
Plaka is one of the most well-equipped beaches on the island, with sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent. The southern section, however, remains more secluded and pristine for visitors seeking privacy. Behind the sand dunes, you’ll find a range of restaurants, taverns, cafés, bars, and small markets, while accommodation options—hotels, villas, suites, and apartments—are abundant. Watersports facilities are also available along the coast.
The beach is easily accessible by car via the road connecting Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna beaches. Although there is no formal parking lot, cars can be parked along the roadside. Plaka can also be reached by bus from Naxos Town or nearby beaches.
